NQX Renews Partnership with Suicide‑Prevention Organization JEVI - Estrie

Montreal, Quebec – May 2026 – As Canada marks Mental Health Awareness Month, and during Mental Health Week, NQX, a Canada‑based customer experience provider, is proud to announce the renewal of its partnership with JEVI Centre de prévention du suicide – Estrie (JEVI), a Quebec organization dedicated to suicide prevention.

For a second consecutive year, NQX’s contact centre agents will support JEVI’s awareness and fundraising efforts by reaching out to citizens across the MRCs of the Estrie region served by the organization.

This renewed collaboration builds on last year’s success and directly supports JEVI’s mission to prevent suicide and provide free, accessible support to individuals experiencing psychological distress.

“Continuing our collaboration with NQX allows us to extend our reach at a time when demand for our services continues to grow,” said Tania Boilar, Executive Director of JEVI. “The empathy and professionalism demonstrated by NQX’s agents are essential to our mission. Every conversation helps reduce stigma, raise awareness among the population about the services available, and remind people that public support is critical to maintaining free and accessible prevention services.”

NQX agents assigned to this initiative receive specific training to ensure each interaction is conducted with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. Their objective is to engage citizens in the mission of JEVI Centre de prévention du suicide – Estrie, a meaningful mission that promotes awareness of suicide prevention and mental health, while encouraging financial support for JEVI’s essential services, including its annual fundraising initiatives, such as the 41st edition of the JEVI Lottery, which aims to raise $100,000 to maintain the free delivery of services.

About JEVI’s Impact

In 2025–2026 alone, JEVI provided direct support to 929 individuals, delivering 10,452  interventions, including 8,752 phone interventions and 1,700 in‑person meetings.

Rooted in the Estrie region for 40 years, JEVI plays a vital role in addressing one of Quebec’s most pressing public‑health challenges. In addition to frontline support, the organisation also contributes to suicide prevention through education, having trained 800 professionals and delivered 21 community training sessions to the general public and workshops over the past year.
